Multi-Use Closet

Our client was looking to reclaim a mostly unused space in their downtown condo.

The Ask: This couple needed a solution that could act as a multi-purpose space for extra clothing storage, drying rack, folding space and storage.

The Solution: We created a custom-designed closet that included 2 hanging rods, 4 pull-out drying racks, a table on casters that when rolled out could expand to fold clothes and extra storage above.

A Nursery For Two

These new parents needed to convert their spare room into a functional room for two babies.

The Challenge: To repurpose this smallish room into a nursery for two, including 2 cribs, a changing station, rocking chair, toy storage, reading nook and space clothes and diapers. All this with a limited budget and a 4-week timeframe.

The Solution: A creative layout solved the challenge of fitting in all the furniture and a custom designed closet ensured room for both children’s things plus extra storage and laundry hampers. The fun boho theme tied everything together.

A Teenage Hangout

This blank slate needed function and some style to make it a place their kids wanted to hangout.

The Challenge: As one of the last untouched spaces in the home, this basement was in desperate need of a personality. It also needed to function as a space for the kids to hang out, adults to workout, and the family to watch movies. It was a tight budget so being resourceful was a must.

The Solution: The basement was divided into 4 zones: movie zone, gaming zone, workout zone and storage zone. To reduce costs, the client’s old kitchen cabinets were painted and used for the new TV entertainment area, the snack bar and the storage cabinets. A custom built-in desk, using just 2x4s, plywood, and a ton of paint, became the gaming zone for 4 and with enough space for epic lego builds and foosball tournaments.
